This a picture of fermentation. Fermentation (biochemistry)is a metabolic process whereby electrons released from nutrients are ultimately transferred to molecules obtained from the breakdown of those same nutrients. In this picture yeast has been put in a bottle that contained sugar and water. And yeast began to grow. It needed oxygen to keep growing and it also released carbon-dioxide.
