Cambium

Cambium is a single layer of delicate meristematic tissue between the phloem (the inner bark) and the xylem (the wood). The cambium I found was on the inside of tree bark. This kind of cambium is reffered to as cork cambium. Both pictures were taken at the campus of Spelman College in Atlanta, GA.
