Deciduous means to shed or fall off at a particular season or stage of growth. Deciduous leaves are simply leaves (such as leaves in the autumn season) of deciduous trees that fall off at a particular time. The first picture was taken on the campus of Spelman College in Atlanta, GA. The second picture was taken outside my house in Birmingham, AL.
